Brave souls take plunge with New Year's Day Otley swim
A FEW brave souls decided to see in the new year with a swim in a district river.
The small group of intrepid folk braved the icy waters of Wharfedale on New Year’s Day this morning.
Despite the annual event, which started in the 1980s, being officially cancelled due to the pandemic, the group went for a swim in the River Wharfe at Otley.
