NAFS Fitness is ringing in the New Year with food packages and positivity for those in need.

Nadera Amini and her teams of volunteers have brightened up support packages for the city’s most vulnerable and hard to reach families with messages of hope.

Nadera told the Telegraph & Argus: “Coronavirus has afffected mental health and isolation. We want to welcome 21 as a year of supporting each other. We’ve overcome the hard part, now is about recovery.

“2021 is a year of recovery. If we want to recover we need to support each other so sharing food, sharing messages.

“It’s really important. Pray for each other.

“A lot of people have seen a lot of hardship. They understand there’s food available. They will bring more people. We want to help the most people as possible including the hard to reach. People are more confident now to ask. In the past people really struggled with food parcels, getting the right services, right access.”
