POLICE have arrested a woman after a man was stabbed at a house and rushed to hospital in a serious condition.
West Yorkshire Police was called to reports of an assault at a property in Barkerend Road, Bradford, at around 3am this morning.
Emergency services rushed to the scene, including the ambulance service.
They found a man in his 40s with a stab wound.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "He was taken to hospital for urgent medical treatment.
"He remains in hospital at this time and he is in a serious condition."
Officers arrested a 46-year-old woman at the scene and she was taken into police custody.
A local resident said a police cordon has been in place all day today, with a police car at the scene throughout the day too.
In the afternoon, a police van turned up, they added.
The West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Enquiries are ongoing."
