A BLAZE at a Bradford take away earlier this year has been confirmed as an arson.
On September 14, 34 firefighters were called to a fire at Burger Time on Great Horton Road, near the University of Bradford.
A new report by West Yorkshire Fire Authority has revealed that it was one of the biggest incidents in West Yorkshire between July and September.
The fire started in the take away, but spread to flats above, and led to neighbouring buildings being evacuated. it took hours to bring it under control.

The fire authority report said: “The cause of this fire is thought to be deliberate ignition of building supplies on the ground floor following the renovation of the first floor flat.”
A police spokesman said no arrests had yet been made, and enquiries are ongoing.
