DETECTIVES who were investigating a cannabis supply conspiracy in Merseyside and West Yorkshire have charged four men following warrants and activity.
The investigation is linked to the "large-scale" cannabis farm uncovered on Filey Street, near Shipley Airedale Road, at the weekend.
This activity took place in both Merseyside and West Yorkshire, the force confirmed, and means a total of seven people have now been arrested in connection with the cannabis farm.
The four men have been charged with conspiracy to supply cannabis with the initial hearing at Sefton Magistrates Court this morning.
The arrests included: 24-year-old man Bertold Cara; 24-year-old man Jurgen Miha; 25-year-old man Arber Disha; all of Canon Road, Anfield; and 32-year-old Xhyla Erion of no fixed abode.
A fifth person, a 25-year-old-woman from Hackney, London was released under investigation pending further enquiries.
