SIR - I'd just like to say how lovely it is to see Dawn French's character the Reverend Geraldine Granger supporting Black Lives Matter in the latest series of Vicar of Dibley.
May I suggest to the BBC that in the next series, the Reverend is seen in the centre of London on a bulldozer knocking down Churchill's statue and then burning the Cenotaph flag. To pave a way for a world where there are no police, no traditional family or capitalism.
The capitalism that gave French her wealth in the first place. A world where racism and slavery are seen entirely as a one-way street and anti-semitism and anti-white propaganda are acceptable. What great comedy this is.
Bring it on Dawn, you're a national treasure.
