WARNING: Police have told drivers to take care in snowy weather.
This was the first snow of this winter to fall across the district, and has left some road conditions in a treacherous conditions, particularly in areas at a high elevation.
In most lower laying areas the snow has been more of a light dusting with pavements and the roads relatively clear.
