A FURTHER three Covid-19 deaths have been recorded at Bradford’s hospitals.

All three have been seen at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, two of the deaths were recorded on December 2 and the other on December 1, taking the total figure for the district to 556.

Bradford Teaching Hospitals has now seen 389 deaths from the deadly virus, Airedale NHS Foundation Trust has seen 165, and Bradford District Care NHS Foundation has recorded two.

Nationally, a further 295 hospital deaths have been recorded today, taking the total number to 41,605.

Patients were aged 39 to 99 years old and all except 11, who were aged 53 to 91, had known underlying health conditions.

Elsewhere, Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust has now seen 591 deaths, Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust has recorded 576, and Calderdale & Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust has seen 302 fatalities.

Yorkshire and the North East accounted for 45 fatalities recorded today, with the most - 83 - being seen in the Midlands.
