POLICE are appealing for information after a man stole a handbag from an ambulance while paramedics attended a call.
The theft took place in Sheldrake Avenue, Allerton, at about 9.30am on Tuesday, December 1.
The ambulance was parked up while paramedics attended a call, and a man approached the vehicle, opened the passenger side door and stole a handbag from inside the ambulance, before fleeing the scene on foot.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, saw the man or has any further information is asked to call police on 101 quoting crime reference number 13200600717, or by using the live chat facility on the West Yorkshire Police website.
Information can also be passed anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
