A DRIVER has been fined after a trailer with a car on it was stopped by police for having an overweight load.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police’s Roads Policing Unit stopped a trailer on the M606 into Bradford carrying a dark blue Renault car that was strapped to its back.
Officers found the vehicle load to be 20 per cent over weight, with no current MOT and inadequate load security on the car.
Fines were issued and the vehicle was prohibited until it is made safe.
