SANTA, his sleigh and a tractor are bringing festive cheer to Thornton and the surrounding area this week and next.
Robertshaw's Farm Shop has organised the Christmas treat after deciding not to run its annual grotto due to the coronavirus restrictions.
The tractor-pulled sleigh is heading to Clayton today, to Denholme and Cullingworth tomorrow, and will visit Thornton and Bradshaw on December 9, then Queensbury on November 10.
Nicola McGreal, from the farmshop, explained that the grotto wouldn't have had the same magical experience what with Santa and his elves in masks and social distancing in place.
She added: "It’s been a difficult year and we thought lets bring some festive cheer to the community."
