Visitors to Saltaire took a step back in time at a vintage extravaganza.

Bargain hunters looking for blast from the past were treated to treasures at 25 stalls in the first event of its kind to be held in the Victoria Hall.

Visitors were entertained with music from the 1920s up to the '60s and Interlude tea room and emporium provided refreshments.

The event was organised by Caroline Brown, owner of The House of Rose & Brown in Victoria Road, Saltaire.

She is holding a competition for budding designers and textile artists. Entrants are being urged to bring unwanted garments back to life by re-fashioning them in to innovative outfits.

Winners will receive vouchers from her shop, where their work will be displayed. The competition will be judged by Caroline, Ann Lloyd, and creator of Rapunzel Strikes Back, Liz Johnson.
