A STOLEN motorbike, which was taken in a burglary, was recovered after a police chase.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Steerside Enforcement Team - the force's dedicated initiative for tackling anti-social and dangerous driving - spotted the red bike in the Buttershaw area of Bradford yesterday evening.
Checks showed the motorbike had been stolen earlier on Sunday in a burglary.
Police chased after the bike, as a result.
The officers eventually caught up with the vehicle and recovered it.
The bike has been booked in for forensics and there were a number of items seized nearby to where it was found too.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Victim of the initial burglary (earlier today) updated, pleased to be getting his vehicle back so soon."
