A MAN aged 25 and a woman aged 27 have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a firearms incident in Bradford.
Two further men aged 40 and 21 have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. All four remain in police custody.
Detectives are investing the incident which involved the discharge of a firearm at around 9.46pm in Halcyon Way, in the Canterbury area of Bradford, on Thursday, November 26.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said damage was caused to a car on the street and the damage is consistent with gunshots.
No-one was injured during the incident.
Detective Chief Inspector Sharron Kaye, who is leading the investigation, said shortly after the investigation began: “Incidents involving firearms cause a significant amount of distress and concern for the local communities. We do believe this was a targeted incident.
“I would urge anyone who was in the area and witnessed anything suspicious to come forward and speak with police to assist with our ongoing enquiries.”
