BRADFORD has been named as the third hardest place in the country to find a parking space.

All Car Leasing’s study analysed the number of registered cars in the UK’s biggest cities and towns versus the number of car parking spaces, to reveal where it is easiest (and hardest) to find a parking spot.

In Bradford there are 5,350 public parking spaces, with a total of 207,540 registered cars. This means 38.8 cars per parking space, making the city third worst in the country.

Birmingham was ranked as the hardest city to find a parking space, with 51.5 cars per space, followed by Edinburgh at 39.8.

Bradford just pipped Leeds to third place, with the latter Yorkshire city next at 29.2 cars per space.

Meanwhile, Norwich was ranked as the easiest UK place to find a parking space with 8,522 public parking spaces, with a total of 52,590 registered cars. This means 6.2 cars per parking space.
