A MAN who went on a spree of 21 thefts from shops and two assaults has been jailed for 22 weeks.
Gareth Dobson, 33, appeared at court on Monday, November 23, and was sentenced to a 22 week term in prison.
He was arrested at the weekend, after West Yorkshire Police issued an appeal to the public last week.
Information was sent in that led officers to an address in Shipley on Saturday, November 21, where they found Dobson and detained him.
He was charged with 21 thefts from shops and two assaults and was remanded in custody.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "We would like to thank the public once again for their assistance in bringing this man to justice."
