POLICE stopped a van and reported the driver for displaying "blue emergency lights".
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Roads Policing Unit spotted a white Mercedes van using the lights in Menston at the start of last week.
It is illegal to have a vehicle fitted with a blue warning beacon, a special warning lamp, or a device which resembles either of these items (whether it is in working order or not) under The Road Vehicles Lighting Regulations (1989).
Police pulled over the vehicle.
The driver was reported.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "This vehicle was stopped in Menston due to displaying blue emergency lights to the front.
"Driver reported."
