THE University of Bradford reported 25 new confirmed case of coronavirus among students and members of staff over the last four days.

These figures represent new positive confirmed cases that have been reported to the university on a daily basis.

Yesterday (Thursday, November 19), the university reported six new cases, all students, one of which was on campus.

On Wednesday, November 18, the university reported four new cases, two of which were students and two staff, none of which were reported on campus.

On Tuesday, November 17, the university reported nine new cases, all students, and none of which were on campus.

On Monday, November 16, the university reported six new cases; five of which were students and one staff member, none reported on campus.

The data shows the total number of new confirmed cases for University staff and students each day and, of that total, the number of those cases where the individual was on campus within 48 hours of developing symptoms.

Those affected have been urged to self-isolate for 14 days in line with Government guidelines and the University reassuring people that it has implemented "a range of measures".

This includes the delivery of any food and/or medical supplies as well as supporting students’ mental health.

The University's counselling and mental health service is offering telephone/video and email appointments to students.
