A MAN was laid in the middle of the street after a reported crash that closed a major Bradford road.
West Yorkshire Police was called to a road traffic collision at 9.30am this morning on Great Horton Road, near The Bulls Head.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Police reported a road traffic collision at 9.30am this morning (Friday, November 20) in which a man was laid in the road."
Footage seen by the T&A shows an ambulance inside a police cordon and staff were dealing with someone in the middle of the street.
The man was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary (BRI).
The cordon stretched right across Great Horton Road, between its junction with Westcroft Road and Paternoster Lane.
The road was closed in both directions, which led to traffic building up.
But a T&A reporter at the scene said the road was fully opened at around 10.35am.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment, but is yet to respond.
