THE best time and day to take your driving test post-lockdown have been revealed.

Researchers from allcarleasing have gathered data from the DVLA to reveal the success rates of specific times and days:

  • 1 Sunday 2pm-2.59pm 55.8%
  • 2 Tuesday 4pm-4.59pm 52.8%
  • 3 Friday 4pm-4.59pm 52.6%
  • 4 Saturday 4pm-4.59pm 52.1%
  • 5 Sunday 9am-9.59am 52.0%
  • 6 Monday 3pm-3.59pm 50.0%
  • 7 Saturday 2pm-2.59pm 49.9%
  • 8 Friday before 7am 48.6%
  • 9 Monday 9am-9.59am 48.5%
  • 10 Thursday 4pm-4.59pm 48.3%

Out of all the available time slots on each day of the week, the one which saw the highest pass rate overall was between 2pm and 2.59pm on a Sunday, with 55.8 per cent of those taking their test at this time passing.

On the other hand, it was tests earlier in the day that tended to have the lowest pass rate, with the lowest of all being noon to 12.59pm on a Sunday, with just 33.8 per cent of candidates passing at this time.

Looking at which days of the week could be most advantageous for passing your test, it seems that Monday is your best shot at success, with a 46.9 per cent pass rate.

On the other hand, despite having the individual time slot with the highest pass rate, Sunday was actually the day which saw the least passes overall, with 43.28 per cent.
