A BRADFORD doctor has helped give Government advice on how opening our windows for fresh air this winter can aid in the fight against covid.
Dr Amir Khan has presented a Government video on how ventilation can reduce the spread of coronavirus.
The video explains how covid is transmitted inside and why opening windows for 15 minutes each day can protect homeowners and tradespeople visiting their homes.

Dr Khan said: “You can open a window for a small amount continuously throughout the day, or open it for short, sharp bursts of 10 to 15 minutes.
“By opening windows throughout the day, you can remove infected particles that are lingering in the air, so people can’t breathe them in.
“This is really important when you have visitors at home. Make sure you open the window before, during and after a visit.”
