AN uninsured motorist was stopped from driving to Cheshire by police who spotted glass from their wing mirror.
Officers from West Yorkshire Roads Policing Unit stopped a silver Volkswagen Golf at the Hartshead Moor services on the M62.
Officers were alerted to the car which had missing glass in one of its wing mirrors.
They found out the driver was not insured and was a non-licence holder.
Officers tweeted about the incident, adding the driver was planning on driving to Cheshire prior to being stopped, and asked to be allowed to continue his journey.
The car was seized and the driver was reported.
