BRADFORD is set to get a cold snap tomorrow as temperatures plunge, with reports of possible snow in some areas of the UK later this week.

Today’s top temperatures of 13C in Bradford is set to make way for just 2C at 8pm tomorrow after a chilly day, as a cold snap arrives in Bradford.

Reports suggest the cold Northerly winds may also produce snow over lower levels with sleet, hail and snow.

Met Office forecaster Alex Deakin said: "It is going to turn much colder over the next 24 to 48 hours, Thursday particularly cold thanks to some strong winds.

“It’s going to feel an awful lot colder tomorrow. Quite a shock to the system.

"Strong northerly winds will get very gusty on Wednesday night, and those winds will bring a real chill to Thursday. Over the hills we will see snow showers but even at lower levels sleet, hail and snow is possible.”
