A FURTHER four Covid-19 deaths have been recorded today in hospitals in the Bradford district.

All four deaths occurred at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, taking the total number of deaths there to 338, and the total across the district to 477.

The number of deaths at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust remains at 137, and at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust the number stays at two.

Across England, a further 132 deaths have been reported today, taking the national total to 36,322.

Patients were aged between 45 and 100-years-old, and all but one, who was aged 69, had known underlying health conditions.

Yorkshire and the North East and the Midlands saw the joint highest number of fatalities recorded today, with both seeing 36 deaths, followed by 27 in the North West.
