A FURTHER four Covid-19 deaths have been reported at the Bradford district's hospitals today.

Three further deaths have been seen at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, with one death occurring at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust.

This takes the total number of Covid-19 hospital deaths in the district to 473. Bradford Teaching Hospitals has seen 334, with 137 reported at Airedale. Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust has recorded two Covid deaths.

Nationally across England, a further 304 people have died with Covid-19, taking the total number of hospital deaths to 36,190.

Patients were aged between 21 and 100-years-old, and all except nine, who were aged between 30 and 96, had known underlying health conditions.

The North West accounted for the most - 87 - of these deaths, followed by Yorkshire & the North East on 79.

Elsewhere in West Yorkshire, Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust has now seen 487 deaths, there have been 459 at Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust, and Calderdale & Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust has recorded 256 fatalities.
