A similar stone horse trough in Clayton pictured in 1961
SIR - I recently noticed that the stone horse trough on the junction of Thornton Road and City Road, outside what used to be the City Combing Company, has disappeared, with just the supports remaining.
This lovely old trough has been here for many years and is a bit of a local landmark. Does anyone from Bradford Council know whether it has been officially removed, and if so where has it gone? Or has it been stolen?
