SIR - I must say that I agree with Steve Wilson (T&A letters, November 7) regarding High Point, a grotesque building which I would have far preferred to be demolished.
This private development has already been given almost £3M of public funding which begs many questions.
Just what does Bradford Council know about the developer Circus Developments?
Do they have adequate funding to ensure that the refurbishment can be completed, including for any unexpected issues?
Can we be assured that further moneys will not be demanded from the public purse?
What is the Council's involvement in all this, especially in monetary terms?
As this is such a high profile issue perhaps Council leader Susan Hinchcliffe could enlighten us with the details, please, to set our minds at rest?
