AS the world falls silent at 11am for Remembrance Day, there will be no gatherings around Cenotaphs or wreath laying ceremonies this year.

Instead we will remember the sacrifices, lives lost and changed, war heroes past and present, from our homes.

In the spirit of that poignant statement 'Lest We Forget', the Telegraph & Argus has opened a contributions tool, allowing Bradford to mark Remembrance Day together albeit virtually.

There are beautiful poppy displays across the district made by children, school pupils, community groups, neighbours and care home residents.
