MORRISONS has relaunched its takeaway service for the second lockdown and the new menu includes Christmas Dinner.

The supermarket chain has reopened its hot-food-to-go service in all 404 of its cafés across the country.

Customers will be able to order some of their café favourites either in store, over the phone or via Deliveroo (in certain locations).

This time around there is a revamped menu, just in time for the festive period.

There is a Christmas Dinner on offer, which includes turkey, stuffing, a pig in blanket, roast and mashed potatoes, sprouts, carrots, a Yorkshire pudding, gravy and cranberry sauce.

You can polish it off with a Christmas Pudding, which is served with a rich brand sauce or custard.

Both options are £5.50 each.

Ali Lyons, Head of Cafés at Morrisons, said: “We wanted to keep our Cafe food available for busy families to pick up and take away.

"We’ve also launched a new festive menu - to spread some cheer and allow people to celebrate in the run up to Christmas.”

All meals and snacks ordered in store, or over the phone, will be ready for collection after half-an-hour.
