SIR - The Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall is a national landmark; those who lost their lives at war should never be forgotten.
It was very pleasing that despite current lockdown procedures this year's event took place.
It was professionally put together and presented on national television.
I have commented in previous correspondence regarding the atmosphere in the Royal Albert Hall where at times you could not hear a feather drop, let alone a pin. At the end of the Festival, the same would apply when the poppy leaves fell.
