SHELF'S annual Remembrance Sunday service will be happening online this year but villagers have banded together to decorate St Michael and All Angel's Church.
Many members of the church spent lockdown knitting and crocheting poppies which have been used to decorate the pulpit.
The processional cross has been decorated with purple poppies to remember the animals killed.
And Ben Stables has spent the last few years researching the names on all of Shelf's war memorials, including the ones in the parish church and those belonging to the chapels in the village.
His grandmother, Barbara Pritchard, made four decorative panels with the names on with photos of the men.
