A POWER CUT has left 80 homes without electricity this afternoon and it might not be back on until after 3pm.
Northern Power Grid revealed that 80 buildings in the Hartshead Moorside area of Cleckheaton are being affected by the unexpected outage today.
It was first reported at 12.12pm.
Houses off Fifth Avenue Way, Third Avenue, Eighth Avenue, Fourth Avenue and Central Avenue have been impacted by the power cut.
Northern Power Grid said power is expected to be restored by 3.30pm - more than three hours after the outage.
The power cut has been caused by an unexpected problem with the cables or equipment that serve the area.
Northern Power Grid's website states: "Our team are working hard to restore your power as quickly as possible."
