THERE have been two new Covid-19 deaths recorded today in Bradford's hospitals, taking the total number of fatalities in the district to 423.

The two new deaths were recorded at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, taking the total there to 297.

Airedale NHS Foundation Trust has recorded 124 fatalities, while Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust has seen two.

Across England, a further 163 deaths have been recorded today, taking the national hospital total to 32,647 .

Patients were aged 42 to 100-years-old, and all but four - who were aged between 60 and 90 - had known underlying health conditions.

The most were recorded in the North West with 57, followed by Yorkshire and the North East with 47.

Elsewhere locally, Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust has now recorded 410 deaths, Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust has seen 367, and Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust has seen 205 deaths.
