SIX further Covid-19-related deaths have been reported by Bradford's hospitals today. 

According to the latest figures released by NHS England, Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust reported four new deaths, while Airedale reported two. 

Of the four at Bradford Teaching Hospitals, one patient died yesterday, two patients died on Monday and another patient died on Saturday. 

Of the deaths at Airedale, one patient died yesterday and the other on Monday. 

It means the total number of reported hospital deaths in the Bradford district, according to NHS figures, now stands at 420 - 295 at Bradford Teaching Hospitals, 123 at Airedale and two at the Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.

Meanwhile, Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust reported a further four deaths, Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust reported one death, while Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust reported nine deaths. 

A total of 174 deaths were reported by hospitals across England. 

The figures are updated at 2pm each day and include confirmed death cases reported at 4pm the previous day.

It means total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England now stands at 32,291.

Patients were aged between 33 and 102 years old. All except four (aged 61 to 87 years old) had known underlying health conditions.

Date of death ranges from March 27 to October 27, with the majority being on or after 20 October.

NHS England says: "Confirmation of Covid-19 diagnosis, death notification, death certificates and reporting in central figures can take up to several days and the hospitals providing the data are under significant operational pressure.

"This means that the totals reported at 4pm on each day may not include all deaths that occurred on that day or on recent prior days."
