BRADFORD City crashed to a poor 3-0 home defeat to Newport County in League Two as a former face came back to haunt them.
Newport manager Michael Flynn was a former Bantams fans’ favourite during his playing days at Valley Parade and he enjoyed his return to City.
Bantams fans were not happy with the result, but the club has a quick chance to get back to winning ways with a league trip to Bolton Wanderers tomorrow.
Here are just a few of the fans’ views from social media after Saturday’s result and attention turns to tonight's FA Cup first round draw, which City will also be involved in.
🎱 | We have been allocated ball No.6️⃣ in this season's @EmiratesFACup first-round draw - which will take place tomorrow.

Big spending Bolton have only won once so far, and we will be looking for a response after a disappointing loss to Newport.
As the away team, we've already beaten them once this year. Can we do it again?

#bcafc Stuart McCall is the man to take the club forward. This years squad isnt good enough but given time, he will take us to the championship. The ship needs steadying after the stress Edin caused and he is the man to do it. Patience is whats required this season.

In the past I've been disappointed at seeing us lose on a Saturday. Now it's just part of the weekend #bcafc slumping below mediocrity is now the norm

Is anyone else thinking we might not get promoted this season? #bcafc

A disappointing result today.

The goal before half timed killed the game, and we had a limp 2nd half against a confident and in form Newport side.
Big game now against Bolton Tuesday night for both teams. #bcafc
Odds on we'll get Skelmersdale United in the FA Cup and they'll beat us 😂 #bcafc
