A FURTHER two Covid-19 deaths have been reported in Bradford's hospitals today, taking the total number of deaths to 398.

Both deaths were recorded at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, one on Tuesday and one yesterday, which takes the total number of patients who have died with the deadly Coronavirus to 117.

The figure for Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has remained at 279, and at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust the total remains two.

Across England, a further 152 patients have died with Covid-19, taking the total number of fatalities to 31,427.

Those who died were aged between 36 and 97-years-old, and all had known underlying health conditions except seven, who were aged 61 to 95.

The North West saw the most of these deaths, with 60, followed by Yorkshire and the North East which reported 35. The Midlands saw 29 of the deaths.

In the local area, Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust has seen 376 deaths, including eight on Tuesday alone, while the Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust has recorded 359, and Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust has seen 189.
