A FIRE has broken out in three outbuildings at the Ponderosa site in Heckmondwike.
Firefighters from Dewsbury and Cleckheaton were called to Smithies Lane at around 5.30pm.
A statement on the West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service (WYFRS) website says: "On arrival incident proved to be three outbuildings involved with one large jet currently in use.
"Cleckheaton and two Dewsbury Crews attended."
A WYFRS spokesperson said the buildings are disused and the latest update is that crews are damping down.
Plumes of smoke could be seen across the sky this evening.
Th Ponderosa complex includes the Zoo, a business park and a restaurant, and covers 85 acres of land in total.
