A FURTHER four deaths with Coronavirus have been recorded today in the Bradford district's hospitals.
All four deaths happened at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, with two occurring on Saturday and two happening on Sunday.
This has taken the total number of Covid-19 deaths in the Bradford district to 393. Bradford Teaching Hospitals has seen 276 deaths, with 115 at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust and two at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.
Across England, a further 76 deaths have been reported today, taking the national death toll past the 31,000 mark, to 31,047.
Patients were aged between 47 and 99-years-old, and all bar one, aged 85, had known underlying health conditions.
A third of the deaths (25) occurred in Yorkshire and the North East, followed by 24 in the North West and 16 in the Midlands.
In the local area, Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust - which covers the Spen Valley - has the highest number of deaths at 358, followed by Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust with 355, and Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust with 185.
