THREE new aspiring lawyers have joined Bradford law firm Gordons on its pioneering apprenticeship scheme.
Katie Breckin, from Guiseley, Danny Knee and Abby Sidebottom have all joined the firm straight from school to take their first steps on the career ladder.
They will get practical hands-on experience and academic study, paid for by Gordons while also earning as they learn.
Started in 2011, the first of its kind scheme offered by Gordons takes apprentices through to a Level 6 qualification - equivalent to degree level - and further than most other schemes.
Frances Mitchell, apprenticeship programme lead at Gordons, said: “We’re pleased to welcome our latest intake of legal apprentices to the Gordons team.
“We believe the legal profession should be open to all with the appropriate ability and drive, and all three of our new starters demonstrated those qualities in abundance throughout the selection process.
“We’re pleased to welcome Katie, Abby and Danny and hope they have long and successful careers with us.”
