THERE have been no further COVID-19-related deaths reported at hospitals in the Bradford district today, according to the latest NHS England update.

It means the coronavirus death toll at Bradford district hospitals still stands at 377.

Nationally, a further 32 people who tested positive for the virus have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths at hospitals in England to 30,471.

Patients were aged between 54 and 100 years old. All but one (who was aged 65) had known underlying health conditions.

Their families have been informed.

Nearly half of the 32 patients died at hospitals in the North West, with a combined total of 14 deaths reported by hospitals in Blackpool, Merseyside, Greater Manchester and Warrington.

Five of the 32 patients died at hospitals in the North East & Yorkshire region, with Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust reporting one death.

One death each was reported by hospitals in Darlington, Gateshead, Newcastle and Sunderland.

Five deaths each were also reported by hospitals in London and in the Midlands.
