WEST Yorkshire Police has issued an appeal after a deer was attacked and killed by two dogs near a reservoir.
The force's dedicated Wildlife & Rural Crime Team posted about the incident on social media website, Facebook, yesterday.
The dogs attacked and killed the deer at around 3.15pm, on Sunday, October 4.
It was near to Ogden Reservoir.
There were no people seen with, or near, the dogs at the time of the attack, but they both had thick leather collars on.
One of the dogs is described as a cream-coloured Greyhound type.
The other was described as a large black dog.
If you witnessed the attack and can identify any persons involved, you should contact PC 3168 Hamilton on 101.
