FOURTEEN new business units can be built at a Bradford business park after a planning application for its expansion was approved.
Plans to build the new units on an unused plot of land behind Inspire Business Park, off Harrogate Road, were submitted to Bradford Council earlier this Summer.
The business site is run by Newlands Community Association, and in its application the group said an increased demand for the services offered at the site means an expansion was needed.
It added: "Over the last ten years it as seen the growth of the service groups within the local community resulting in the demand for new managed workspaces on the remaining vacant part of the site."
Plans for 12 industrial units in South Bradford submitted
Approved this month by Bradford Council, the plan is for 1,554 square metres of new business space and a 64 space car park.
Each unit will have a dedicated electric vehicle charging point.
Approving the plans, officers said: "The scheme provides an employment development on a previously developed site."
