SKIPTON’S first pop up art space is due to be officially opened on Friday by the mayor, councillor Peter Madeley.
Craven Arts Hub will be housed in the former TSB Bank building in Caroline Square, at the bottom of the High Street and will be run by the charity, Craven Arts and will be open on market days.
Craven Arts says it plans to bring more cultural activities to the town for all to enjoy and instead of bank tellers, it will be artists behind the glass screens.
Kicking off with the first exhibition will be the work of Carolyn Hird-Rogers, Ann Rutherford and Jim MacMorran.
