TWO TEENAGERS were arrested, with one of them charged, after police discovered two knives in a vehicle.

Police received reports of two males spotted with a large knife on Tuesday, September 15, in Bradford city centre.

Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Operation Jemlock team - the force's initiative dedicated to tackling knife and serious violent crime - headed to the city centre to assist with the report.

They helped arrest two males, a 17 and 18-year-old, in a vehicle on Sunbridge Road.

Officers also discovered two knives (pictured) in the vehicle.

One of the teenagers was later charged with possession of bladed articles.
