FOUR vehicles were seized and more than 20 tickets issued to motorists today during a police crackdown in the Keighley area.
The initiative was carried out by officers from the West Yorkshire Police Operation Steerside team, set-up to tackle law-flouting and anti-social drivers.
Six of the tickets handed out were for failing to wear a seatbelt.
Three were for using a vehicle without a test certificate.
Two were issued for using a hand-held mobile phone at the wheel and the remainder for offences including contravening a road sign and anti-social driving.
The vehicle seizures were related to no insurance.
Officers also conducted speed checks at various locations but no offences were recorded.
