This stunning photograph shows a unique view of an iconic viaduct as the autumnal sun casts long shadows over the landscape.
The setting sun above the Ribblehead railway viaduct, North Yorkshire, sends long shadows from the 24 arches across the moors.
The impressive drone shot was skillfully captured by landscape photographer Thomas Jones late last week [September 17].
Thomas, 37, from nearby East Witton, often ventures out into the Yorkshire Dales with his camera searching for a beautiful photo opportunity and this snap is truly an iconic one.
He said: "I love the unique view."
The viaduct carries the Settle–Carlisle railway across Batty Moss in the Ribble Valley.
