POLICE stopped a car because two unrestrained young children were "jumping about in the back" of it.
PC Martin Willis of West Yorkshire Police, who is otherwise known as "Motorway Martin" on social media, pulled over a black Mercedes at 8.57am this morning.
It was on Manchester Road, near its junction with Mayo Avenue (A6177) and the Matalan store.
The officer had spotted something unsafe going on in the back of the vehicle.
Two young children were unrestrained and jumping about in the back seat of the car, which had a Moldovan number plate.
PC Willis said: "Your children should be the most cherished people in your life.
"They depend on their parents or carers to keep them safe."
The driver was reported, as a result.
