THE Thank U NHS Spitfire's flyover Bradford Royal Infirmary has been re-scheduled for 11.45am tomorrow.
As a bonus, keen local plane spotters will have a chance to see the Spitfire twice in the same day, as the iconic World War II aircraft will fly over Airedale Hospital in Steeton at 2.39pm tomorrow on its return journey to the RAF base at Duxford. Airedale and Lynfield Mount Hospital in Bradford, near BRI, have been specially added to tomorrow's route.
The Spitfire is due to take off from Duxford at 11am before flying over Pinderfields at Wakefield, St Mary's in Leeds, BRI and Lynfield Mount before heading over to Harrogate and landing at Teeside around midday, where it will then take off at 1.30pm for its return journey.
