Bradford City Ladies, in fourth place in the Northern Combination, have a chance to make up ground on Sunday.

They take on bottom club Salford Village at Thackley (2pm), while rivals Rochdale and Leeds City Vixens do not have a game.

City slipped further behind after their game with Scunthorpe was washed out last week but, with games in hand, the runners-up spot is still there for the taking - even if the championship trophy is almost certain to finish up with Curzon Ashton, who have won all 12 games.

City A go into Sunday's game with Kirklees at Leeds Road Playing Fields in pole position.

The Huddersfield side had the edge last season but, with maximum points from nine games, City are eight points clear of second-placed Vixens Reserves so Kirklees will their work cut out.

Morley Reserves will be hoping to dent Vixens' chances of making up ground on the leaders when they travel to the Adel-based club, while Silsden could do City a favour when they go to third-placed Lepton.

Elland are well clear in Division One but Shipley, two points behind second-placed Hebden Royd, have a chance to make up ground when they take on bottom club Republica.

Bradford Park Avenue, in mid-table after their 3-3 draw at home to Northowram in Division Two, desperately need maximum points at in-form Pontefract SSC if they are to have any chance of promotion in their first season.

Morley, 4-3 winners at second-placed Darlington, are now six points clear at the top of the North East Regional League Premier Division with a game in hand. Third-placed Huddersfield Town are their visitors on Sunday.

Guiseley will be hoping to improve on their mid-table placing when they go to bottom club Doncaster Parklands.

In Division One South, Keighley go to Rotherham-based club Wickersley. They will look to carry on where they left off at home to Bilton last week when goals from Fatima Khatoun, Helen Wood, Natasha Mulligan and Suzanne Hill secured a 4-2 win.

Howden Clough still lead this division after a 2-1 win over Wickersley.
