TWO members of staff at a Bradford primary school have tested positive for Covid-19.

Crossley Hall Primary School, Fairweather Green, informed parents and carers of the cases last week.

A letter sent on Wednesday (September 16) said: "This afternoon, we have been informed that a member of our staff has tested positive for Covid-19.

"The individual has not been in school since Monday and sought a test straight away. They have been selfisolating at home as per government advice.

"The individual is a member of The Vines Resource Provision which is based in a separate building on site.

"They have not had any contact with any children or members of staff in the main building or reception or nursery children. We have notified the parents of children within the affected bubble who have now all been sent home to self-isolate for 14 days.

"If you have not been contacted you do not need to take any action. I would like to reassure you that we take any suspected and confirmed cases of coronavirus very seriously. A deep clean of any affected areas has begun."

Then, on Thursday (September 17), a further letter was sent out, which said: "This afternoon, we have been informed that a further member of our staff has tested positive for Covid-19.

"The individual has not been in school since Tuesday and sought a test straight away.

"They have been self-isolating at home as per government advice. The individual is a member of our administration team and has been working in a separate office space.

"They have not had direct contact with any children or other members of staff in school.

"I would like to thank you for your ongoing support during these difficult times. We take any suspected and confirmed cases of coronavirus very seriously.

"A deep clean of the affected office space is now taking place. We continue to monitor both staff and pupils should they display Covid-19 symptoms.

"If your child has any of the following symptoms, you must ensure you book a test for them and they self-isolate along with anyone in their household, pending their test result."
